Few dishes are as widely beloved yet as dazzlingly simple as mac and cheese. Basically just the perfect combination of pasta, cream and cheese, it's as comforting at 2am after a night of liquid indulgence as it is in the centre of a fancy Christmas feast.
As difficult as it would be to get bored of mac and cheese, there's nothing wrong with a bit of a change from time to time; some experimentation.
And so, for a day that happened to be recognised in America as 'Mac and Cheese Day' (seriously), I put together a range of recipes both utilising and paying ultimate homage to this beloved favourite.
